Dear Quilters,
There’s something for everyone on QNNtv.com this week!
Mary Fons continues her three-part series with Ebony Love, taking you through the stages of making the Tisket-a-Tasket quilt. Lots of great things to learn on Quilty!
The quilt tour at the Newark Museum on Quilt Out Loud! is not to be missed. Mark and I were extremely impressed with the collection. Plus, quilting guru Linda Taylor shows you some tips for quilting the log cabin pattern.
On Quilting Celebrations see the fun Patrick’s guest Kaye Capps Cross has had with sashiko. She shows lots of samples, which equals lots of inspiration.
Even if you don’t own a longarm quilting machine, you can learn a lot from Lisa Calle on Quilt It! The Longarm Quilting Show this month. “Quilting Phobia” can hit any of us, no matter which machine we use. Watch Lisa as she shows you her cure!
Happy quilting,
Jodie

Quilting Celebrations |
Episode 201 - Sashiko!
Week One
It’s a new season of Quilting Celebrations with Patrick Lose and Patrick has a new “toy”. He’s always been a fan of hand-stitched embellishment on his applique projects and now Baby Lock has a machine that produces the same look in a fraction of the time for those who aren’t as fond of stitching by hand. He’s designed a cute Easter Bunny placemat for this episode and he’ll show you how the Sashiko machine can add even more character to it. In the first segment, Patrick has invited guest Kay Capps-Cross back to his studio to play with the machine and the two will show examples of what they were able to accomplish with it and talk a little bit about the art of traditional Japanese Sashiko.
