 Enter your quilt in the contest at Georgia Quilt Show! This year Georgia Quilt Show will present more than $9,500 in awards, and you could be one of the winners. Best of Show will take home $5000 AND be featured on the cover of Quilters Newsletter in 2013! Deadline for entries is September 4, 2012 – so there is plenty of time to finish your quilt for entry. Georgia Quilt Show is presented by Original Sewing & Quilt Expo at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA on October 18, 19 & 20, 2012, and will have more than 400 fantastic quilts on display in a range of collections, from specially curated art quilts, traditional quilts, small quilts, large quilts…and the centerpiece of the show is the Contest Quilts. Last year’s Best of Show, chosen from a field of nearly 100 quilts juried into the show, was Wilhelmina Vandervoorde’s Tree of Life (pictured here).
