Come celebrate with us!
We've teamed up with Patrick Lose to help make your upcoming celebrations as fun and festive as possible. Whether it's spooky spiders, heirloom stockings to hang on the mantle, or a sprinkling of oak leaves and candy corn – Patrick has filled 'Quilting Celebrations' with a little bit of fun for the next several occasions. And of course, in between the 'stitchin', he'll send you to the 'kitchen' to whip up some yummy perfect pumpkin bars, or even a festive fruit trifle. Go to your online extras to see a slideshow of Patrick's fun, new designs.
Peaky and Spike to the rescue
Quilting tools can be fantastic time-savers, but only if you're using them correctly. Our online extras include a long list of Sew Easy Lessons that will introduce you to timesaving tips, tricks and new tools. The Tri-Recs tool is a great example of a handy tool that introduces you to Peaky and Spike – pretty good friends to have around when cutting and piecing triangle units.

Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)
The Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS was inspired by my young son's devastating diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and the painfully found knowledge that there is no treatment, no cure, no hope for the thousands of people diagnosed with ALS each year.
The first Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS has been an overwhelming success – having received almost 1,400 quilts in just 7 months!
In conjunction with the ALS Association, over 1,000 quilts will be distributed nationwide to ALS patients. The remaining quilts will be displayed, raffled and auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to ALS research. Select quilts will be displayed and available for sale October 1 - 18 at the Richard Stravitz Fine Art Gallery in Virginia Beach, VA.
Do You Quilt Like Eleanor Burns?
Eleanor makes beautiful music on her Symphony quilting machine. Mary Fons sings the praises of her Melody. Evy Hawkins creates traditional, hand-work stitches on the Sashiko. See which Baby Lock machine can be the perfect accompaniment for your quilting project. Click here for more details.
